Day 18: Covid Business Boost

Day 18: Solo Cucina Market May 2nd

We are so fortunate to live in an area that supports & values family farms, small businesses and great food.
My business boost for today is a collaboration between Jordan's Farm in Cape Elizabeth & their shop The Farm Stand with the Portland restaurant Solo Italiano.

Together they created Solo Cucina Market, which is in the same location as the former Farm Stand in Knightville SoPo.
I have to say, I've never been in the new market as it opened when the shutdown was beginning. Talk about timing!
I can't imagine what a blow that was to their dreams of people flocking in for house made pasta, sauces & their butchery.
As a new business, they hit the pivot really quickly.

Luckily there's a window facing their parking lot and that quickly became their curbside pickup station.
A quick call, food ordered & picked up and we had a tasty meal, loving the kale pesto!!!
If you are having a craving for really good Italian food or want to help out a brand new collaboration; check out this brand new Italian market.
